The mission at Hope Tabernacle is:
“To honor God with all that we are by serving those who believe that they are hopeless, to share the knowledge of God in order to bring all men into communion with the body of Christ, and to collectively chip in to the building up of His kingdom.”
Our mission is built on five pillars, taken from the Great Commission: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
- Fellowship– Involves us all “chipping in” to the building up of one another and the ministry.
- Evangelism– To reach out and bring the gospel of Jesus to the un-churched community.
- Worship– To worship God with all of our being, from our inner most being. Through this act, we are acknowledging God and revering Him in Spirit and in Truth.
- Ministry– To serve each other and the community. We take the focus off of ourselves and use our collective efforts to build up someone else.
- Discipleship– To build up believers and to help them find their place in ministry.
